In harmony with nature

The down comes from eider ducks living in the wild in limited areas of Iceland, making it scarcer than other types of down. After the young birds have left the nests, the remaining down is collected by hand. It is then dried and cleaned using a hand-held down harp, all done manually. The production of eiderdown duvets takes place entirely under natural conditions. The Icelandic gatherers work hard to create a suitable environment for the eiders and to protect them.

Excellence at its finest

Eiderdown is for those who only want the very best. In Denmark, fewer than 100 eiderdown duvets are sold annually, as their quality is clearly reflected in their price. We offer eiderdown duvets from the Danish brand Quilts of Denmark.
When you purchase an eiderdown duvet, you are investing in a product that can last for decades. Eiderdown duvets can be cleaned and reused, and simply sewn into new covers

Eiderdown duvets in 3 sizes

Eiderdown or muscovy down

A muscovy down duvet might resemble an eiderdown duvet but comes at a much more accessible price point, suitable for most people. Muscovy down originates from muscovy ducks, which are tropical birds, yet they withstand temperatures as low as -12 degrees due to their feathers' excellent insulation. Muscovy down is exceptionally light, fine, and soft, always of high quality, especially when the duvet is produced in Denmark or Europe. If you're interested in eiderdown but find the price daunting, consider buying a muscovy down duvet i instead.
