Which mattress topper should I choose?

When buying a new mattress topper, it is important to consider the desired firmness. The firmness of a mattress topper is determined by its core quality. A mattress topper with a core quality of 50 kg/m3 offers medium firmness and is suitable for most people. The higher the core quality, the firmer the mattress topper; a core quality below 50 kg/m3 signifies a softer mattress topper. Borg Lux mattress toppers have a core quality of 60 kg/m3, making them more firm. Most other mattress toppers in our collection have a core quality of 50kg/m3.

The cover on a mattress topper

Mattress toppers vary not only in their filling but also in their cover. Some mattress toppers come with cotton covers, while others feature bamboo covers, which are antibacterial and perfect for combating house dust mites. It's a matter of personal preference.

Washing the mattress topper

Whether you opt for a cotton or bamboo cover, it can be washed in the washing machine if the cover is removable. This applies to most of the mattress toppers you'll find at HOME-TEX.com.
