What is a Senses weighted duvet:
The Senses weighted duvet is a weighted blanket developed by Danish "By Borg". The ball duvet contains small glass beads with a diameter of approximately 1 mm. The glass beads are encased in polyester wadding to ensure the beads are not felt and to prevent any noise disturbance when using the duvet.
The size and distribution of the small micro glass beads allow the duvet to fall snugly and weightily around the body.

Who can use the duvet:
A weighted duvet is suitable for everyone, but may be particularly beneficial for individuals with ADHD or other diagnoses within the autism spectrum, as well as those experiencing motor and psychological restlessness. The duvet can also be beneficial for various psychological conditions or pain issues.

We suggest choosing a duvet that is approximately 10% of your body weight.
Therefore, this 4.5 kg duvet is ideal for a body weight around 45 kg.
The duvet is not recommended for individuals with low body weight or pregnant women. The duvet must not be used by children under 3 years of age.

What does the duvet do:
The pressure from a weighted duvet can help stimulate the body's nervous system and sense of touch, promoting the processing of sensory impressions. This may contribute to better balance, calmness, and increased body awareness and well-being. As a result, it may lead to quicker sleep onset or an improved and uninterrupted sleep. Good sleep, inner calm, and balance are essential prerequisites for managing the many additional cognitive challenges that some people face daily.
