Maintaining your cushion pads
Proper care is essential for our cushions to ensure they retain their comfort and longevity. After spending the night in bed, or indeed the day on the sofa, there will be residual moisture naturally released by our bodies. It is crucial to wait at least one hour before covering your bed or sofa with blankets, bedspreads, or similar items. Your mounted pillow should never be vacuumed; instead, it should be shaken. If you wish to air your pillows, it's essential for those with natural filling to be aired in the shade, as sunlight can harm the natural lanolin coating the down.Washing pillows
Your pillows generally require washing more frequently than your duvet, as they face more pressure. All our cushion inserts with natural filling can be washed at 60 degrees, while those with fibre filling can be washed at 30 degrees. Both types can be tumble-dried. We recommend drying them with a couple of tennis balls to prevent the filling from clumping.
