Storage bag for duvets and pillows - It is vital to store your duvets and pillows correctly when they are not being used. Whether it's your summer or winter duvet to pack away, or a guest duvet to store, a duvet bag will suffice. Avoid wrapping them in plastic, as both the duvet and pillow need to "breathe" and have proper ventilation to preserve their functionality. Crafted from fabric with small vents, the storage bag ensures air circulation around the duvet and pillow. Designed with practical handles for easy transport and a zip for swift and efficient packing.
Ensure the duvet and/or pillow is COMPLETELY dry before packing it away. We always recommend washing your duvet or pillow before storing it away.

Washing down duvets and pillows:

All down products can be washed at 60 degrees in a standard washing machine (minimum capacity 7kg). After washing, it's important to dry the duvet or pillow thoroughly in a tumble dryer with 2-3 tennis balls to help separate and fluff the filling. The tennis balls ensure that the compressed down clusters are loosened and separated during the drying process. We recommend washing your pillow 3-4 times a year, and your duvet 1-2 times a year, especially when switching between a summer duvet and a winter duvet.

Regular Maintenance:

To enjoy your duvet for many years, it's crucial to carry out regular maintenance. When you rise in the morning, allow it to release the moisture it has absorbed overnight. Shake your duvet while making the bed to keep it fluffy, light, and airy. Remember to shake from different sides to keep the filling evenly distributed. You should air both duvet and pillow as often as possible, but always in the cover and never in direct sunlight. It's important to avoid vacuuming or beating the duvet. Use a soft brush instead.
