A continental bed is comprised of three mattress layers, each contributing to a unique sleeping experience.

1. Layer - includes a mattress topper, designed to provide a soft and comfortable surface to rest on.
2. Layer - incorporates an intermediate spring mattress. This mattress serves as a transition layer, enhancing support and comfort. Simultaneously, the spring mattress reduces the movement between the various mattress layers.
3. Layer - consists of a base that serves as the foundation of the bed. This is a sturdy box mattress equipped with springs. The box mattress provides support to the upper mattress layers, giving the bed the desired firmness.

Our Excellent Deluxe continental bed comprises the following three elements:

Top: A standard 4 cm pure foam mattress topper, featuring a removable and washable cover.

Mattress: Our Deluxe spring mattress with pocket springs and 7 integrated zones - ensuring ultimate comfort and the ideal blend of support and luxury. With 7 zones of specially designed pocket springs, the mattress moulds itself to the body's natural curves. The different zones offer enhanced support to areas such as the shoulders, hips, and lower back, allowing the lighter areas to sink in more comfortably. This offers accurate and well-balanced pressure relief and body support.

Similar to the spring mattress, this base is organised into 7 supportive zones. Additionally, there is a double layer of pocket springs. Each spring is individually encased in small felt pockets, allowing them to function independently, providing much more precise support.

The associated spring mattress measuring 180x200 cm is supplied as two 90 cm sections. The cover is a single piece, designed to securely fit over the mattresses. This setup keeps the mattresses together, resulting in a total width of 180 cm.
The bed comes as standard without a headboard but offers the option to add one during assembly.

We strongly recommend using a mattress protector over the fixed mattress or mattress topper. A mattress protector acts as a barrier between you and the mattress. By guarding against dirt and wear, it prolongs the mattress's lifespan.
